LAST SUNRISE deftly takes on topical and timeless subjects, while spinning a compelling personal story. Other Worlds Film Festival announces new branding and a new home as it enters its sixth season. Formerly Other Worlds Austin SciFi Film Festival, the new moniker reflects Other Worlds’ natural evolution as an international brand and its broad influence with smart, independent sci-fi and horror films.
Other Worlds Austin, Austin’s first and only festival dedicated to SciFi filmmaking, is kicking off its second annual affair with the US premiere of the brilliant thriller, BOY 7. And OWA will close the three day festival by announcing the winner of the inaugural Mary Shelley Award for SciFi Filmmaking.
After an illustrious inaugural year, Other Worlds Austin will return in December 2015, bringing the best in SciFi from around the world to Austin, TX. We can’t tell you much about this year, but we can tell you that if you want the cheapest possible price on badges, make sure you are on our badge interest list for 2015.
You're in for certainly a weekend treat with this festival. Tickets are available on their (gorgeous and awesome) website right here.
