OW partners with IndieMeme to present a new film!
|
|
IndieMeme Film Festival is happening this weekend! In support of our friends, we proudly co-present the weird, whimsical feature RK/RKAY:
RK is a frustrated filmmaker who can't get his latest feature to click. It's a tribute to 1960's cinema, complete with a gangsters, an earnest hero over his head, and a love interest with style and glossy tresses. But the project is lifeless and things get even worse when the lead character runs out of the edit and into real life.
India I 95 min I Hindi w/ English subtitles
RK/RKAY will screen at AFS this Saturday, April 16th at 7:30pm. Director/writer/star Rajat Kapoor will be in attendance! We highly recommend supporting South Asian indie film and attending the film in person, but if you can't make it, the film will be available to stream the following week (April 22-25).

In addition to popular horror touchstones, Foo Fighters videos have lampooned everything from materialism to cheesy TV ads to FALLING DOWN’s corporate everyman rage. Ever topical but never pedantic, they’ve always found the fun in skewering modern life.
With this in mind, are we really surprised that they’ve delivered us the delightfully random gift of a horror film? One which, naturally, stars the band as themselves? CONTINUE READING
