Crystal moved to the Austin area in the early 2000s where she attended Texas State University, and eventually obtained her BBA in Accounting.

Her love of movies is lifelong, reinforced by frequent theater outings with friends & family. In the COVID Before Times, she had a group of friends that met at least monthly for Movie Nights. Hopefully in the not-too-distant future, that tradition will rise from its shallow grave and walk the Earth. Guerrero’s School Of Hard Knocks introduction to Sci-Fi fandom (and resultant deep appreciation of the genre) came thanks to that most glorious of all gateway drugs, MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000.

When not hard at work moving beads left and right on her Abacus, Crystal can be found taking her Borgi (Border Collie/Corgi) Daisy on fur-raising drives through the Hill Country in her sports car, embarking on long paddles on area waterways, or (formerly) hiding behind a large stainless bowl of lightly salted popcorn at a Master Pancake Theater screening.
